HAWLE - A – Revolutionary novelty of the water-supply flap technology. HAWLE-A - first flap with the indiscrete corps in the world.
UAB “Insustek” has reached high objectives and results when chose Austria company HAWLE as a supplier, which is one of the water-supply flap production leaders.
In 1948 Mr. Engelbert Hawle created a company, which produced pipe conjoint and flanges. These goods confirm the moto “Quality, which dividends” of company and helped to entrench into the international market. During the lifetime company has introduced some innovations, which become as a guide for all producers of water-supply flaps.
In 1958 began to produce VULKAN flap – the first flap with rubberized wedge, which become the new standard of water-supply flaps in all over the world.
In 1966 Hawle has offered Kombi flap, which is signally possible to reduce the number of water-supply components, by the unique ability to connect 4 flaps into one.
In 1993 were presented PE and PVC resistant to tension pipe connection and flaps system “SYSTEM 2000”.
Today HAWLE together with UAB “Industek” presents new standard of water-supply flaps technology – first flap in the world with indiscrete corps HAWLE-A.
The problems, related with corrosion, are way behind! Tightness, durability, geometry of leakageare is the guarantee of the success. The mounting of flap and usage is very improved after the diminishing the weight of the flap.
Indiscrete structure – tightness:
First time is made the cuneiform flap with indiscrete corps. Now the unique mono-design gives grand resistant to the corps of flap.
Resistant from corrosion:
Big progress in the fight with corrosion postulates to improvements of two flap constructions:
- There is no longer screwing part – no longer thread connections.
- HAWLE-A spindle of flap is fixed using the “bayonet” lock. It means, that there is no longer fixing threads.
These constructions ensure 100% coverage by protective epoxy-powder cover. This 100% coverage gives 100% protection from corrosion, keeping the GSK (High quality of anti-corrosion cover association) requirements.
Leakageare guarantee – reliability:
Revolutionary flap leakageare geometry also ensures better safety and reliability of HAWLE - A flap. The retaining wedge of this flap is “sandwich” type.
Wedge is made of two separate discs with sealing rings. Two sealing rings - double sealing in the bottom of pipe.
Wedge mobility ensures especially easy control of the flap even during the way of big loads.
Reduction of weight – easier operation:
Unique indiscrete structure of flap HAWLE-A allowed reducing the weight till 40% (depending on diameter). This reduction makes easier mounting and usage of flap, and moderate raw consumption – benefit to environment.

HAWLE-A flap is producible of those dimensions DN 80, DN 100, DN 150, DN 200 with long and short distance between flanges. Enlarged tightness and durability, 100% protection from corrosion, specially big sealing and weight reduction guarantees the maximal expiry date and working to this flap, to which, as to other HAWLE products, concentrated guarantee for 10 years.
